What does this percentage actually cost me in dollars?

Converts a stated annual rate into the dollar amount it comes to on a balance you choose. It does not tell you whether the charge is reasonable, and it does not know what else your contract charges.

Use the figure the charge is assessed on. For many riders that is not the account value, which is the point of asking.

Enter it as a percentage, for example 1.25.
